Compounding Lab
We opened our specialty compounding lab in 2014. Since then, we have been providing custom, high-quality compounds to our patients, who can be confident in the knowledge they are made right. As a member of Prescription Compounding Centers of America (PCCA), we have access to chemicals and bases of the highest quality, and a multitude of training opportunities to ensure we keep on top of the latest advancements in specialty compounding. We have several staff members trained through PCCA in specialty compounding and advanced specialty compounding techniques.
We are in the process of building a new state-of-the-art compounding lab that will meet or exceed NAPRA standards. NAPRA is the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities. The aim of the NAPRA model standards is to provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who compound non-sterile, sterile and hazardous sterile preparations with the standards necessary to evaluate their practice, develop service-related procedures and implement appropriate quality controls for both patients and compounding personnel, with a view to guaranteeing the overall quality and safety of the compound product.
